Authentic Vintage Gucci GG Monogram Canvas Messenger Bag

Authentic vintage Gucci GG Monogram canvas messenger/crossbody bag in a metallic pewter/gunmetal colorway. Small rectangular structured messenger silhouette with a top zip closure and an additional zip pocket on the front, plus a wide adjustable, padded leather-and-canvas crossbody strap with a silver-tone D-ring buckle adjuster. The GG monogram pattern is woven into the coated canvas in a tonal pewter-on-pewter finish, subtle rather than high-contrast. A rectangular silver-tone "GUCCI made in Italy" metal plate is riveted to the front zip pocket, and silver-tone zipper pulls run throughout.

The interior is finished in black fabric printed with a repeating pattern of the Gucci script logo, a laurel-wreath crest, and a small pine-tree emblem, with an embossed leather "GUCCI made in Italy" tab bearing a trademark symbol sewn inside. This crest-and-pine-tree lining print is an earlier Gucci house pattern, consistent with older production.

Condition: the coated canvas exterior is clean overall with light, even sheen and rubbing wear at the corners and base consistent with age and general handling, and no cracking, flaking, or tears. The zippers, D-ring, and buckle hardware all move smoothly with light tarnishing typical of the silver-tone finish. The interior lining shows light dust/lint consistent with storage but no stains or tears.
